Only a brief list of business awaited attention at the quarterly meeting of the. Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee, held at To Karaka yesterday. M r P. H. Harper, S.M., presided and also present were Messrs A. Young, G. S. Moody, M. Dbyle. and R. E. Jackson.
Transfers oi’ licenses were granted as follows ; Kaiteratahi Hotel, Glen S. Cnnlton to Joseph Scholium; To Buka Hotel, G. A. Neill to Mary 'll Harris: Royal uak Hotel (Matawhero) Joanna Brodie to Charles 11a ri.
J. P. Iloare, licensee of the Tolaga Bay Hotel, recently destroyed by nrc. applied for permission to carry on in temporary premises.—-Permission was granted for thi-ee months.
