NOTES AND NEWS. Hunting Boy, winner of the Ladies’ Bracelet at, Awapuni, is a six-year-old gelding by Hunting Song from Sheila. He showed a lot. of speed as a two-year-old and the following year won a. five-furlong race at Carterton in fast time. Hunting Boy did a fair amount of hunting last season, and has evidently improved in stamina, for he now staving fin better than formerly.
