Out of a conference of Republican chieftains to-day came the definite prediction from tho group’s spokesman, Senator Moses, of New Hampshire, of a prohibition re-submission plunk in the party’s platform-

“There will be a re-submission plank”. Senator Aloses said to news-: pa per men after the extraordinary conference of party leaders on the eve of the national convention. But lie emphasised, the net-ails had not been agreed upon for the prohibition declaration.

James Garfield, of Ohio, ulm will preside over the convention resolutions committee, also . stressed the point that the party platform and particularly the prohibition plank would not take definite form for. several days.
