For the annual champion cf champions •singles competition, under the auspices of the Gisborne Bowling Centre, six clubs have nominated representatives, and keen interestshould attach to'the tourney, which is set down for Saturday. Tim matches will be played on tue Poverty Bay club’s oreen, play commencing at 8.30' a.m., and the twolife system will govern the results of matches, New Zealand Bowing Association rules being followed, 'fine draw for ilio first round has been made as .under: Tnlmniani Bay v. Tolaga Hay; Poverty Bay v. To Karakul; Kalnitia v. Gisborne.
