A BRIGHTER OUTLOOK
Afr F. J. Nathan, of Joseph Nathan' and Co., Ltd., Wellington, ■takes a. bright view of the dairy market In an interview given to the Taranaki “Daily News,” Mr Nathan reviewed ihe marker and the slight contraction in British unemployment returns, also the now visible and increasing results of the propaganda, in Great Britain to huv British Empire products. Air. Nathan is reported to have said : “I look for brighter and firmer markets, 1 am not looking for I s 3d and Is 2d a pound for butterfat. because I think that 'day is past. But there is every indication. for an improvement in. the trade position of England. We in New Zealand will get the reflex ot that improvement in six months’ time. The present position of the butter and cheese markets is not the only consideration,'’ Air. Nathan concluded. “There arc other issues of the dairy industry. Dried milk as well as butter and cheese. This is a further indication of a general, steady improvement.”
