FEDERAL CABINET REPEALS LABOR REGULATIONS.

After a 12-hour Cabinet meeting, Mr. Lyons announced that- Cabinet had decided to repeal the regulations made under the Transport Workers) Act giving preference to waterside unionists. Mr. Lyons said these regulations were made by tho last Government after the Government had been defeated, and at a time when it did not have a majority in either Ilouso of Parliament. The regulations gave preference to members of tho W atcrsido Workers’ Federation, which had been definitely refused by the Arbitration Court.
