MORE EXCITEMENT AT DUBBO

A message from Dubbo states that the town was packed last night, when intense excitement prevailed owing to the rolusal of Communists to leave after a warning that the citizens would put them out. this afternoon, “Police nr no police.” The police, when asked their attitude, replied that they “supposed they would have in carry out their orders and protect, the Communists from physical violence.” Police reinforcements were summoned from the neighborhood. The four Communists concerned, however, thought discretion the* better part of valor, and left Dubbo late at night, and so relieved the situation. PRECAUTIONS IN AMERICA. As a result of bombing threats by “Communists” and the “Anti-Fas-cist”, party, drastic precautions are being taken to guard tlic financial district, which has been filled with private guards, patrolmen and detestiees, following the receipt- by the police department of letters asserting that ■ various . buildings and persons would he blown up. A personal bodyguard ha s been assigned to protect Air J. F. Morgan and his home. The Justice Department at Washington also has apparently received information of the supposed home plot. . _
