CAMPBELL BEATS O'MALLEY.' (Press Association) TIAIARTT. Nov. 19. The professional fioxTng contest for the heavyweight championship of Australasia, held to-night between Alan Campbell (of Timaru. holder), and Jack O’Alalley, [(of Australia, challenger), resulted in a win for Campbell on points. The fight went the full fifteen rounds, at the end of which Campbell had a fair margin of points in. Ill's favor. - O’Malley was the aggressor, but failed to connect cleanly.' Ho-scored well in tfic ui-jfiglitjng liis footwork was very clear and. got him out of trouble oil several occasions. O’Malley took a lot of punishment and went for a knock-out right to the finish, but was unable -to penetrate Campbell’s defence. The fight was a good clean one and the decision was well received.
