GISBORNE CLUB

At a meeting of the committee of the Gisborne Swimming Club held on Tuesday evening, air. E. T. ■C’hrisn presided over the following 0. E. Brown, 8. McKenzie, 11. F. For-ter, TR. Berge, T. Waueliop, C. Greig, AL.-s B. Robinson and D. At. Aliller (hon. secretary). A letter was received from the Olympic Club asking for a uemUalien lo meet and endeavour to come to a proposal to put to the Cc .'.icil for night swimming for club rembirs. It was decided that Alessrs. Forster, Aliller, and Brown bo appointed to meet the Olympic Club. The following were elected new mem. bers, Misses E. II eg arty. At. Blair, W\ and B. Barns-Gnaham and Alessrs A. Bryan, P. Sinclair and M. Barton. It was resolved that, the first carnival be iield on Thursday, Dec. 17.
