WOAIAN INJURED”BY BULLET. (Press Association* GREYMOUTH, Nov. 18. A shooting mystery occurred at Groymouth South near the breakwater at 8 o’clock to-night when Airs Daniel AlcCarthy, while- walking with her husband, was hit on the leg with a point*22 bullet fired from tho opposite side of the river. Half a dozen shots in all- we re fired and drove others to seek safety. Tho injury is not expected to be very serious, but the full effect will not be known till after an X-Ray examination to-morrow. A police search failed to discover who fired the shots.
