It is reported' that a beer bottle has been picked up in Lacepode Bay, containing what purports to bo a message from the air-liner "Southern Cloud,” lost on March 21, ana stating that the plane was lost and flying aimlessly over tho, water. The ending is blurred and apparently unsigned. Ulm discounts the story: He sajpa tho plane carried no beer, bottle and that tho “message” is couched .in terms which would not bo used by an experienced airman.
