BRITAIN " WANTS FURTHER INFORMATION.

Mr. MacDonald, questioned in the House of Commons on the proposed armaments truce, said that until details were known, the Government could not pronounce an opinion on the suggestion. A certain delegation had put forward a resolution in the League Assembly asking governments to abstain, pending the Disarmament Conference, from increasing the present level of armaments. The British Government was keeping in close touch with its representatives at Geneva.with regard to it.
