The Federal Minister of Trade and Commerce, Mr Stevens, expressed the hope here that a trade agreement would soon he mtode with New Zealand. He said: “We are iu constant touch with New Zealand, and ai’c anxious and ready for an amicable agreement with that Dominion. I am confident we shall do so when the present general election in New Zealand is over.”
