Sheep. —There was again a heavy yarding of sheep; demand and values lor which wore on a par with last week. Extra heavy prime wethers made 12 s to 13s, heavy prime 10s 9d to 11s 9d, medium to heavy 10s to 10s (id, light and medium 9s to 9s 9d, unfinished wethers 7s 6d to 9s Get, extra heavy .prime young ewes. 7s- to 8s 3d, heavy 5s 9d to Gs 9d, lighter ■ls 9d to 5s Gd, other killablo ewes 2s Cd to ds Gd, other ewes 2s Gd to 3s 3d. Lambs were penned in record numbers, which sold steadily throughout. Extra heavy prime lambs made Ids to lGs Gd, heavy prime 12s to 13s Gd, lighter 10s Gd to 11s 9d, light 8s Gd to 10s 3d, smal land plain 3s to 7s. 9d There was a large entry of calves, the quality' generally being first class. •Competition was very slack and all classes suffered declino in valuqs. With the exception of an advance amounted to Is per head l'or all classes, tho weekly market at Addington to_day was a firm one in all the major sections, with 110 alterations on late rates to record. Store lambs: The heaviest entry of the season and one of good .even quality. There was a keen sale and a general advance in values of* Is per head. Values were; . medium rape lambs to 9s 9d; ordinary rape lambs 5s to Ss 9d; small and backward lambs to 3s Id; medium ewe lambs to 7s 2d; small ewe lambs to ds 3d.

Store sheep: A very heavy entry, including sheep from Blenheim Gis. borne, Kaikoura and Central Otago, and an irregular market, .but no quotable change on late rates- A feature was tlie salo of 314 Corriedale four tooth ewes at 15s lOd to IGs lid, the highest price at Addington for store sheep this season. Again 179 six.tooths made Ids 6d and a pen of Gisborne Romneys made Ids Bd. Fat cattle—The entry of 3G5 head was larger than for some time. There, was a firm sale but. tlio range of values was unaltered, as compared with last sale. Store cattle.—Tlio entry .of store cattle was a small one and tho quality throughout was very mixed. There were only tw-o straight lines of any size penned, one of them being a line of 18 months Hereford steers, which sold to £3 is, and the other ,a line of Hereford heifers of similar age. The latter was passed at £4 19s- -Good fresh cows made up to £2 15s and potting bulls, sold at late rates. ,• There was an average yarding in the dairy cattle section. It totalled GG head.
