To-day’s attraction _ “The Border Legion'’ was a name that struck terror in the hearts of the bravest fifty years ago in Western America. This notorious body of men wore a ruthless gang .of outlaws, recruited fiom tho soldiers disbanded after tho Civil War. They rode the vast tract of country'that lies along the border like a terrible' scourge- Their hand was against all authority and woe betide the village or town that refused tribute to their outrageous demands. Opposition by any settlement meant quick retaliation and all that v, ould be left, wore smoking ruins and lamenting- women. Tins stirring piece of real American history is graphical!} portrayed in this powerful'picture. , snlendid cast, headed by Jack Holt, Richard Arien, Eugene Pallette and Fay Wray, portray tho rise and tall of the one time invincible band or outlaws.
