Barometers are now rising over Nqw Zealand under the influence of an anti-cyclone, which is centred near Sydney, and appears to lie moving towards the northern portion of the Dominion. —forecast— Winds: Moderate to strong southwesterly winds still reaching gale force at times i.ll exposed positions, but decreasing to-morrow. Seas, N.Z. waters: Bather rough to rough, but moderating to-morrow, gasman Sea: M oderate to strong winds and rather (rough to rough, but decreasing seas in the eastern Tasman. Weather: Still changeable, with scattered showers, but soon improving.
Cold temperatures, with some frosts in the South Island.
