MATAWAI FLOWER SHOW

SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITION

(Special to the Times.)

A very successful Flower Show was held in the Mat aval Hall on Satur. (lay. The • exhibits in most classes were very good and, after the judges had awarded the prizes, the greater portion of the vegetables, cakes, etc., were sold .to benefit the hall funds. One corner of the hall was get aside' for. a fancy stall, the proceeds from which were devoted to the Earthquake Relief. Fund, In the evening a dance was held, and this also proved very enjoyable. The Hall Committee wish To thank all those who helped to make the. Flower Show and dance success, ful.
