Gvpy.riijbt) AVaSHINGTON.v h ob. 23. ; All the embargo and tariff, bills, including the proposed limitation of oil imports to, 16,000.000 barrels aiiut.a,ly, were- rejected by the House V ays and Means Committee. The action is taken as definitely preventing the -introduction during the present session ol Congress of a hill designed to place an embargo on Canadian wheat imports, as advocated by Farm Board officials recently. The AVilliamson bill to ban all Russian products was also rejected. The committee does not - expect to meet again during the present scssian.
