The Auckland Artillery : Band. Auckland’s sole representative at the Band Contest to be held in February, will pi-ovide a popular programme from. IYA this evening. The .New Clarion Quartet consisting ol Miss L. Wood, Miss B. Smith, Mr L. Harvey and Mr D. Black will provide many solos, duets and quartets. Featured on 3YA’s programme will bq the orchestra of . the Working Men’s Club! The vocalists engaged for ’the evening are:,' Mt's L- Barriball (mezzo-soprano), Mr. Roy Hill, of Wellington Ktonoin), and 31 r F. W. Simpson ‘(baritone) while humorous items will be given by Mr H. Instone.
4YA’s programme will bo of an operatic-classical nature and will bo followed by a session of dance music. The vocalists will be Miss Lottie. do Clifford soprano), Miss Mary Toyiotdale (contralto), Mr W. Harrison (tenor), and Mr B. Bellhouse (baritone). Mr- A. Gome will give a recital “Ten Minutes'..with, Keats.”
