TO-DAY’S PROGRAMMES
The IYA Orchestra Octet will pro : vide a programme including the suite, “Three Famous Pictures” by AYood. Miss El ‘Smithson,'a.young singer, is making her first appearance at this, station. The Bohemian Duo will appear in Popular Atocal and instrumental numbers, while.Mr A. AVright (bass-baritoii'e), will give a group of bright songs. Another singer from2YA, Miss P. .will be heard in several Ballads.
Appearing in the vaudeville programme' . .at -2YA. will be the Lyric Male Voice Quartet-, Mile, PolaSchea , Air. Lad-Haywood and Mr. Len' Ashton, incidental music being supplied by the Salon. Orchestra. 1 The Four Rascals will provide forty minutes of 3YA’ S variety programme. Also; on the programme will-be Mr. E. Withers,' Air. J. -AVoodham /and Air A. Hodgson, in • clarinet,/ mouth organ and banjolin solos respectively. Two . excellent .vocalists will also- be contributing—Miss Monica O’Connell (a talented young soprano)- and Mrs. A.
