WELLINGTON, Loo. 30. General Situation:. Barometers are fairly high, ana uniform over the Dominion 3 and. a small anti-cyclone is now moving on to the soutliern portion. Thei cyclone on the .north-west- Tasman. Sea is l<v cated in practically the same position as it was yesterday. Forecast:
Winds: South to south-east winds, moderate generally but fresh to strong at times on the east_ coast south, of Castleipoint, changing to northerlies soon in the North Island. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough on the East Coast south from Cook Strait, elsewhere smooth to moderate. Tasman Sea: Freshening north-east winds with, rather rough seas in the Eastern. Tasman Sea. Weather: Still mostly cloudy and misty with light rain at. a few scattered places, more especially m the eastern districts, and in the far north and south. Temperatures cool at -first in the South Island, hut rising again generally.
