Ht was carefully, thought, out.. He had. coldly, and callously; decided to desert .Ins wife and with the proceeds of . the money to go off to' America, wtih . another woman. I The ffact was discovered by a letter written by the prisonerto the woman wjjich had faljen into the hands of , the police.
