The popularity of the latest craze, miniature golf; lias been assured since the opening of the course m the Garrison- Hall, and in- this 1 respect Gisborne Has but followed in the steps of other, centres. All day yesterday the course, was well patronised, hut last evening it was found' at times almost impossible to cone with the crowd, and lato-comcrs had, in 'some instances, to wait until the various holes were gradually cleared. ! After consideration, Mr. R. vT. Korridge, in response to many requests, has -decided to lay down another miniature golf coiivsp'fbf G’*sborne. Work will be put in hand immediately, and the course is. c* ; - ■pcctod to he ready for tlie opening games on. Saturday next. - Urgenttelegrams lmvb been despatched; to /Auckland, and tho ‘first material should arrive on Monday. The new. .course will he on more scientific -'lilies, which means that the various holes will be JmU-cli harder . The socond course is modelled on tho latest and most improved courses m Sydney. - .. . ’
