The New Zealand Wool Committee, comprising representatives of tlio producers, woolbrokcrs, and woolbuyers, held a meeting for tho purnoso of exercising its functions in regulating tho offerings of wool at the various sales ’to bo held throughout tho Dominion during the coming season. The committee had first obtained’from the Woolbrokcrs’ Associations at each selling, centre, estimate of tho quantity of wool which it is expected will ho offered, including wool carried over from last season. Tho allocations mado hv the committee were based on theso estimates, and tho maximum aggrerrato quantities of wool v/hicli may ho offered at the sales were fixed as hales. ... .
