Ai AT A AYHERO YARDS. SAIALL ENTRIES YESTERDAY. There were very small entries ill all sections at the Alatawhero yards yesterday, particularly in store slieep. and little interest was evinced. It is possible that this rnay be attributed to the cattle fair having been held this week. Little cornpetition was noticed lor pigs, and many of .the pens were passed in. STORE SHEEP. There was an entry of 1090 store sheep, which were mostly odds and ends, and the sale was not taken very seriously. Lambs went to lls. and ewes sold to 12s. 2-th. ewes making 15s, while empty ewes realised 7s Gd. Prices:— Lambs: 302 medium size, shorn, little condition. 7s 2d: 16 fairly good, woolly (p), 8s 6(1; 30 do.. 7s 7d; G 9 fair size, healthy, 9s 2d: 71 good condition, woolly, 10s 7d: 70 shorn, fair size and condition (p'. 9s; .22 fair size, woolly, Cs 8d : 68 well-grown. shorn wethers (p), 11s: 75 woolly, 8s lid.
