WELLINGTON, last night. General Situation: Tho cyclone which yesterday was located in the Northern Tasman has sinco moved southward and is now situated west of New Zealand. Forecast: Winds: Northerly north of Ivawhia and East Cape, hacking to westerly and later to south-westerly; elsewhere, north-easterly •to southeasterly moderate to fresh and increasing generally. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough south of East Cape; elsewhere, moderate, but rising. Tasman Sea: North winds in the northern portions of the Eastern Tasman; east to south-east in the south-western portion and southerlies, .shortly Incoming general moderate to strong generally with rough seas. Weather: Unsettled dull and misty, with rain developing in most districts and some heavy falls in the Eastern districts. Temperatures are becoming colder.
