DUNEDIN, March 27 Over 600 men have been enrolled on the Trades Hall unemployment re-o-ister and the secretary has replied to' tho Minister of Public. Works oxpressing resentment at n*s telegram casting doubts on .. the aui.ho.n_ ticitv of the figures. The Minister of Railways was invited this morning to d'anuiw the register, hut preferred waiting lus return to Wellington before acting. Mr Taverner also informed the uncmplovment committee that the men of forosn-v works would not he long unemployed.
