Association as a memento of the visit. SUGGESTED EXTENSION OF SYSTEM. POSSIBLE VISIT TO AUSTRALIA NEXT YEAR. (Pres 3 Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 11. Encouraged by the success of the 14 farmers’'-..tours which he has conducted within the Dominion. Mr. F. Pawson, -railway business agent for. Canterbury, has under consideration a proposal to organise a special farmers ’tour from Canterbury to Australia next autumn. None of the details have been worked out, but it is probable that arrangements will be made tor the party to consist of 300 excursionists, tho itinerary _to include visits to the principal cities and important stud farms and sheep stations. It is considered probable that the tour can be arranged at an inclusive cost to each excursionist of COO.
