A petition lias been lodged by Eniily Pitt Rivers Lord Forster s daughter, for a divorce. It has keen included in the undefended list at tho Law Court sittings beginning tomorrow.

Emily, the eldest daughter ot Lord Forster, former Governor-Gen-eral of Australia, was married to Mr G. IT- Pitt-Rivers, a. former captain in tlie Royal Dragoons, in _1915. there being two sons of the union. Mr Pitt-Kivcrs, who is 39 years of age. has had a distinguished" career. Ho served throughout tho Great War, and was wounded in action. Ho was first private secretary and then A.D.C. to Lord Forster in Australia- Ho is tho author of a number of technical publications.
