Tim second of the recent cyclones is row centred near Capo Maria, and au intense pressure has risen rapidly over eastern Australia. Winds northerly at first north of Auckland hut .southerlies soon, becoming general, moderate to strong generally and reaching gale force at tunes in places from Cook .Strait northwards. Seas heavy between lvaikonra and East Cape, elsewhere rather rough to rough. Strong southeast to southerly winds in the eastern Tasman, reaching gale force 1,1 the northern portion, with moderate to rough seas. Weather still cold, squally and uiisottlcd. with showers in most districts. and heavy in places. Hail on parts of.the east coast. Conditions improving m the south and west. . Many frosts.. severe t.n . places.
