Interesting particulars relating to Jiarhor Board loan and revenue expenditure were submitted to yesterdays meeting by the secretary (Mr. it. A. Barton). Jn de.tail these were as follow: CONTRACTS IN HAND.

Korua dredging. When the statement came before the meeting, Dr. J. C. Collins proposed that a,--committee be set up to decide what amount was necessary to complete the works and bow it could best bo raised. Tho secretary stated that the raising of the extra money was practically assured and no actual recommendation in respect of Dr. Collins’ suggestion was made, though members agreed that it was a good plan.
