Thousands filed past the Cenotaph and made a reverent inspection of tiie magnificent wreaths.
NEW ZEALAND’S REPLY TO KING’S MESSAGE

The Governor-General has sent the following reply ,to the message received from His Majesty the King on the occasion of Anzae Day: “The people of New Zealand_ have road with heartfelt appreciation the gracious message which 1 Your Majesty has sent to them for Anzae D«y. The knowledge that , the thought of your Majesty and the Queen are with them on this day set apart for. reverent remembrance touches them deeply.”
