Strange to say father and son find themselves units of tlie Foreign Legion, the former a famous colonel and the son a private. The latter had brought .shame on the family, which had an honored ancestry, and he enlists in the Foreign Legion to iiic]e his own shame and save, the honor of a woman. Jn dreadful circumstances father -and son meet, the son condemned to death by coiirt-ninrtial with the. father sitting in .judgment.
