Ascot, the pony, stewards today disqualified for six months the prominent gelding Southern Cross, also the owner. M. Halbert and tlujockey Max-well. This -gelding originally raced in New Zealand.
NOTE The hurdler. Berinthia, while schooling over the hurdles at To Rapa on Wednesday morning, fell and broke her neck.
