The Daily News’ special Moscow correspondent states that a new an-ti-religious decree will shortly he promulgated, striking at all Christian churches, especially “Bible peats.*’ as Moscow calls the Baptists. The decree will virtually pre vent i'll Christian social and cultural work n< well as all local preaching or the itinerant administration of the Sacraments in scattered areas, without regular worshipping places or permanent pastors. The decree declares that all members of any religious community complying twenty persons and upwards must he registered in one church nr chapel, and they arc forbidden to worship elsewhere.
