TO-NIGHT’S PROGRAMMES

Further holiday-time programmes from all stations to-night, IYA is presenting excerpts from “Clni Chin Chow." Mr Erie Waters, pianist, will contribute _ a novelty item of his own composition entitled “Tear the Door Down." Numbers bv the Auckland Trio will include a selection from “Yeroniquc,” by MesMr" Claude Moss, Airs Elspetli Davey and “The Optimist" will be the artists lor 2YA\s programme Mr Moss’s resonant baritone voice will be heard in Lohr’s rousing song, “Nelson’s Gone a-Sailing" and ip one of Killing’s songs. “Route Marching.” “The Optimist,” a gentleman who for professional reasons does not wish to disclose his identity, will give two interesting humorous items. From 9-30 onwards a special dance programme of selected records will lie presented. . 3YA has a- light and entertaining programme for this evening. -There will be soprano solos by Miss Ala bet Eagle-some and popular jazz .songs by Miss Alma Finnerty. Air Robert Robson, a fine baritone, will make bis first apnearnne© in radio work. Other artists will be -Mr. Bracey AVilison (in Harry Lauder numbers) and Mr George Titehener, humorist.
