TROYED. OCC UI’ANTS’ NARROW' ESCAPE. fpresa Association.) AUCKLAND, March 20. A valuable pleasure launch. Owned by Mr. W. Sinclair, was destroyed by lire in the upper 'harbor. The occupants had iust been rescued when the deck was’ burst by an explosion, the ennine dropping out in deep water. The .-ea was strewn with debris. The launch was a total loss. BAKEHOUSE DESTROYED , (Press. Association.) GREY MOUTH, March 2d. A bakehouse in 'Willis street was destroyed by fire last evening. Tib' brigade, luadc* a good save ol adjoiningy residences. The property was owned by Mr Herbert Moore, and insured for £325 in the Phoenix office. The contents were covered im £l2d in th'e Phoenix office, and £27- 1 in. the Eagle Star office. A motor lorry which was damaged was insured for £IOO in the New Zealand office.
