NORMA TALMA DOE IN “THE DOVE”
Norma Talmadge's picture, “The Dove” will commence on Wednesday at the matinee. A romantic story of South American people, “The Dove, has a plot of some power, a story that is always moving, and a variety of characters that are true to the tvpe they represent. Miss la 1m ad go is seen as Dolores, the Dove, a dancer and singer in a cafe that is always seething with those toy soldiers and littlo revolutions ics, of fclic sort that flourish in those romantic parts. And Noah Beery is the villain who covets the Dove, and brooks no interference in his plans, lint a Yankee from the north, most excellent] v played by Gilbert Roland, is at enmity with this villainous Don Jose. Don .Tose owned, or said lie owned, everything in Costa Rona, arid the Yankee is soon facing a firing squad. From the foregoing it is apparent that “The Dove” is a, conventional. interesting play, with plenty of incident, some exquisite, backgrounds and men and women of fledi and blood.
