DUNEDIN, March 11. A Chinese, All Tong, 77, who had been an- inmate of a benevolent institute for several years, was found dead hanging jn a wool.shed at the home yesterday morning.
. CYCLIST’S FATAL FALL. (Press Association.) HAMILTON, March 11. John Valentine Lerke, 18, a clerk, died in Hamilton Hospital yesterday afternoon, having been thrown from a bicycle in the forenoon and sustaining a fractured skull. Lerke attended a service at the Catholic Church, rode down the hill towards the river, and fell while attempting to turn. He was taken home, the seriousness of his injury not being known till the afternoon.
