At the commencement Of play N.Z. had a lead of 63 as a result of the two earlier rubbers. ' ( The opposing skips were Griffiths and Scott; Bleach and Walker; Thompson and llarroway; itogerson and Smart; Clack and Pit kingion; Curran and Bell, the Australian skips being mentioned first. Play was of a very even nature and some close heads were witnessed. The following are the complete results of the "third test, 'N.Z; being 'first in 1 each instance: Rilkmgton 20, v. A team from the Gistbrne Club has left for "Wellington to play in the Dominion championships. Hueston, who w*ll skip the team, will have with him Stephenson (3), H. Bright <2) and Sutton (lead). In the pairs. Bright will lead for Stephenson, and Sutton for Hueston. Bowlers iin the district will watch with interest the doings of these playors in the big tournament.
