It is feared twenty-seven were drowned during the sinking of the French freighter Nialakoff during a storm off Bafcaricy. All Iropo lias been abandoned. . Thirty-eight of the crew of the trawler Pacifique have Ifeon missing since the gale in the Mediterranean.
