One of the best movements is the effort to produce peace in industry .which should, do much to (restore British industrial supremacy. Tile rationalisation of industry should rescue distressed industries and produce lasting benefits. The success of the Socialists at the 1929 elections or a deadlock installing a minority government would retard the country’s recovery, especially if Labor attempted to control banking.
