Playing brilliant tennis, Crawford (N.S.W.) defeated' Hopman' in the finals of the Victorian singles cliampionsliip yesterday 5—7, 6—2, 6—3. (j. —4; Crawford and Hopman easily won the men’s • doubles championsbip, defeating Dunlop and Donohue (N.S.W.) 6—2,. 6—l,' 6—3. In the women’s singles- championship. Miss Cox '(N.S.W.) beat Mrs Harper (Victoria) 6—B, 6—l, 7—5. In the women’s doubles championship Mrs Conway and.,Misti Cox (N.S.AV.) beat Misses Mercer and ' Lemessurier (South Australia)' 6—2 6—2.
