The Hon. J. McGilligan, Freo State Minister of External Affairs, announced in the Dail Eiroann that it was proposed to establish not merely trade representation, but Embassies at Paris and Bertlin. The policy was to maintain the position of co-equality expressed at the last Imperial Conference and get rid of forms which in some Dominions did not correspond with that expression. The Minister of Defence, when questioned whether Free State officers attending the Imperial Conference College studying strategy and the defence of tho Empire with the result that tho Free State was committed to-the defence of the Empire, replied in the negative.
