POLICE GIRLS NOW. , ‘ LONDON, Nov. 5. Twelve pretty and fashionably dressed girls, who have been special-, ly trained in police work, are being employed as detectives in Lancashire, , states tho Sunday Dispatch. When they are hot engaged m making inquiries among race gangs, shoplifters, jewel thieves and other crooks, they act- as superintending typists at police headquarters. They perform gymnastics in order to . keep fit, but do not make arrests personally, semiring the assistance of uniformed police. • .- '
