CLAIM FOR. £7,000. ALLEGED BREACH OF CONTRACT. TROUBLE OVER PATENT. (Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 14. A claim for. £7.000 for breach of contract was heard before Mr. Justice Mao,’ regor in the Supreme Court this morning, the plaintiffs being Welby Earle Fisher, medical practitioner, of Taumarunui. and Circulators,, Ltd., manufacturers of water heaters, Auckland, and the defendants Methvens, Ltd., brassfounders, Dunedin Messrs. West, of Auckland, and Gordon, of Taumarunui, represented plaintiffs, who, stated that from 19-24 *o 1926 defendants had manufactured and sold to plaintiffs and others 300 Fisher twin circulators and in nearly all had, without'consent of the patentee or plaintiffs’ compact, caused a. hole .to lie bored which nullified the effect o -fthe patentee’s contrivance, causing loss , and damage in rectifying, as well as loss of overseas trade..
