Almost incredible scenes of delirious enthusiasm marked the conclusion of? a speech by Mussolini, which woundi. up the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of Italy’s decisive victory over the Austrian invaders. An immense crowd filled the Plaza Venezia in Rome when Mussolini spoke, briefly recounting Italy’s losses and heroisms. He added: “I will ask you a question, but think well before yon answer ” Mussolini pointed to Victor Emanuel's statue and proceeded: “Remember, he sees you. The Unknown Soldier is listening. Would you do tbe same to-morrow if necessary F” The crowd responded with :t great roar. Mussolini, concluded: “Then carry the iecho of your solemn \ oath to every corner of the country. Viva Ltaha!” Seventy thousand ex-servicemen participated in the procession. The city was bedecked with flags. Te Dfeums were sung and salutes fired.""
