BR.ATIANTPS RESIGNATION FROM REGENCY COUNCIL.

Maniit is expected to be. invited to form a coalition Government^ The crisis. is due to the Regency Council’s insistence on the formation of a national Government, Hi which all parties will be represented. Excitement has prevailed, as it was feared that if M. Bratianu refused, the Peasants’ Party would try to force the overthrow ‘of his regime. The. Peasants’ Party recently • demanded free elections, declaring that the Government was in pofwer solely through.' ttie dishonest manipulations of the franchise. The Government’s annoaneement on October, 31 that negotiations for the stabilisation of the loan had concluded caused the Peasants’ Party leader to declare that the*mobilisation of their forces was proceeding and that they intended to seize the Government before December I.
