PALACE THEATRE.

DOUBLE FEATURE BILL.

The Palace was filled to capacity at both screenings on Saturdav of the giant double feature bill. This programme will be screened to-night for the- last time, the features being “Baby Mine,” the sequel to “Hookies,’’"and “Three Sinners.” These features are lexceptionally fine and make this the best double-feature bill yet presented at the Palace, states the management. “Baby Mine,” the latest comedy vehicle for Karl Dane and George K. Arthur, was adopted from the stage comedy. The screen version of “Baby Mine” is just one laugh after ano'ther. The Dane-Ar-thur combination is. enriched by the addition of Charlotte Greenwood, a musical comedy star. The courtship of Qswa Id and Emma—Karl ■ Dane and Charlotte Greenwood—is one of tfte finest bits of burlesque wooing ever staged. Louise Lorraine plays a straight role opposite Gcorga R. Arthur, and her beauty and vivacity are used to splendid advantage. Harry Earles, the midget, appears in “Baby Mine”, and should create much' laughter at the. end of the picture when he is discovered in a baby’s pram with a cigar resting on his bib, to- the astonishment of a much-deceived “fgtlier.” Lured from a train by the honeyed words of a lover, she drove through the countryside for a- few hours. The train went on and was wrecked. killing nearly every soul on hoard. That is the story-told in-Pola. Negri’s latest starring' picture for Paramount. "Three, Sinners.” What happened when she read the news of her own death in the morning papers? In “Three Sinners,” one of the greatest of Pola. Negri's starring vehicles. Paul Lukas, Tulli'o Carminati • and Olga Baclanovs appear in supporting roles. ; ‘ ' .
