RUBBER IMPORT RESTRICTIONS REMOVED.

The Colonial Office has issued the following statement: ‘As already announced all restrictions on tneicxport of rubber from British Malaya and Ceylon will be removed on November i.” BRITISH/ROAD MOTOR TRAFFIC. (British Offioial Wireless./ RUGBY, Nov. 1. A return has been issued by the Ministry of Transport giving particulars of the gross receipts from the taxation of road vehicles, for the nine months ended August 31 last, and of the number of motor vehicles registered during the past quarter. The amount received in payment for licenses issued during the nine months exceeded £23,000,000. Over 76,000 motor vehicles were registered for 'the first time during June, July and August.
